Yesterday, while perusing the beauty section at Ross I found a sample pack of L.A. Colors Color Craze nail polish. The pack had 7 bright, Spring colors for $5.99. Sounds like a bargain to me. :) Since my nails absolutely refuse to hold nail polish more than 24 hours no matter what brand of polish I buy, I thought the price made the pack worth a try.
Here are a few of the colors in the sample pack...
Fun, right?
Oh, and I checked out their website but I couldn't track down the names of the colors and unfortunately, the names are not listed on the bottle. Strange.
I also bought a couple new colors at the Gap Outlet. I chose a mint green (Mojito Green) and Natalie picked a pink (color not on bottle). Gap doesn't sell nail polish online so I can't provide that link either.
Since my purchases are unavailable to everyone (bummer, I know), I decided to check out OPI and China Glaze's website for some similar, fun colors for this week's 5 on Friday. Have you ever been on their websites? Super cool...
I am currently obsessed with mint green. I know I may be a little late to this party but I love the freshness of the color and it feels very Spring to me. I love the look of this minty color by China Glaze. Its a little lighter than the mint I purchased from Gap and I love the more subtle hue. I could definitely see purchasing this color in the future.

I also really liked this more blue/teal version of the mint green.

A nice, bright pink is also a necessity for the Spring. There are a few ways to go with the pinks depending on the look you want. A bright, cotton candy pink is sweet and classic or a more electric pink which adds a little spice!

Coral is also a great Spring color. Similar to a pink but with a more funky orange undertone. So pretty and fresh!

A lilac is also a pretty option for Spring. It is not as obvious or 'in your face' as some of the other colors for Spring but it still fun. I like the sweet, girly vibe of all three shades of lilac below.

Last but not least, I like a good neutral color. I know white is pretty popular but I'm just not sure I could pull it off but I like the idea of it. So I think these are two good options for an almost white.
Temptation Carnation has a light pink undertone but could compliment so many outfits and the silver is just a fun, funky color to wear.

So what are your go-to colors for Spring and Summer? What other color should I add to my rotation?
Hope you all have a wonderful SPRING Friday!

Visiting from the link up. I love that mint green color. I am trying to find some new shades for the spring, so I might have to check it out. Have a great weekend!
